Staff Safety Audit:
Aaheli Foundation offers a unique sexual safety audit service for organizations, known as the Staff Personal Safety Practice Improvement Review Process. This audit includes the following steps:
Scope of Review: We assess the organization’s safety practices against the guidelines outlined in the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act 2013, providing recommendations for enhancing safety practices by the end of the review. Implementation of these recommendations remains the responsibility of the organization.
The process involves:
Self-Evaluation: The organization conducts a self-assessment using a Safety Diagnostic Tool provided by Aaheli Foundation.
Face-to-Face Interaction: A one-day session with our team includes:
- Reviewing documentation on various safety aspects (a detailed list provided beforehand).
- Discussing standard operating procedures.
- Reviewing sensitization and training schedules related to sexual harassment concepts and POSH Act guidelines.
Group Discussions: Half-hour sessions with management, staff, and support staff to assess their understanding of standard operating protocols and POSH Act procedures.
Meeting with Internal Committee: Discussion to understand how prior incidents were handled and review of documentation.
Verbal Feedback: Providing feedback to management at the conclusion of the two-day process, addressing suggestions and concerns.
Detailed Report: Within one week of the review, Aaheli Foundation delivers a comprehensive report outlining findings and recommendations.
Additionally, post-audit assistance can be provided to help the organization design structures, procedures, and training if needed.
